No heavy traffic, no rushing. Just the island, nature, and time for yourself.
On the quiet edge of Midsland, you will find Bed and Relax:
an intimate, cozy B&B where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Whether you’ve come to get some fresh air by the sea, hike through the dunes, clear your mind, walk the "Walk of Grief," or simply take some intentional time for yourself:
here, you are invited to slow down. You don’t have to do a thing.

Breakfast can be added as an optional extra (€17.50 per person, per night).
Alternatively, you can pick up your own supplies at the local Plus supermarket, or treat yourself to a visit to the village bakery.
This gives you plenty of time to enjoy at your own pace.
Mars
The most spacious room at the B&B 🌿
Located on the south side, this 20 m² room is the largest in our B&B. From the window, you can look out over the fields, with the Wadden Sea dike visible in the distance—a beautiful, quintessential island scene that evokes a wonderful sense of space and tranquility.
The comfortable beds are positioned in the center of the room, but they can easily be moved apart if you prefer to sleep in separate beds.

Venus
The cozy north-facing room 🌿
At 16 m², the north-facing room is the smallest in our B&B, yet it is certainly one of the most delightful. From the window, you look out toward “het boompje van Hee” (the little tree of Hee) — a quintessential Terschelling view that instantly brings a sense of calm.
The room is furnished with two comfortable single box-spring beds, each measuring 0.80 x 2.10 meters. Positioned side-by-side beneath the sloping roof, the beds are accessible from one side.

Walk of grief
A place during your Walk of Grief
Sometimes, life leads you down a path where you need a little extra space. Perhaps you are undertaking a ‘Walk of Grief’—a journey to reflect on a loss, carry memories with you, or take a tentative step toward something new.
At Bed and Relax, you will find a tranquil space to catch your breath after a day of walking. A place to take off your shoes, embrace the silence, and find a sense of perspective for the experiences of the day.
Verwen-massage-arrangement
This package includes:
2 half-hour massages or 1 one-hour massage.
Naturally, you may extend the massage(s) in 15-minute increments
per person if you would prefer a longer session.
Winter package with 4x4 beach excursion
There are two options available:
Premium Package: Starting from the B&B, we head toward the *Drenkelingenhuisje* (survivors' shelter) and continue to the *Amelandergat*, where we will take a short walk to observe seals in their natural habitat.
Exclusive Package: We set off toward the west, traveling via the "green beach" (*groene strand*) and the *Noordsvaarder* area, passing the highest dune—near marker post 3—before continuing to the *Drenkelingenhuisje* and the *Amelandergat* to admire the seals. Alternatively, the route can begin on the eastern side of the island. The choice depends on your preferences and, at times, the state of the tide.
